The Alefbet Preschool is an invitingly warm preschool where the children are engaged in rich and creative learning opportunities, where our educators nurture every child, where we build each child’s sense of self and where children receive strong and enduring Jewish values.

Each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing for growth and development. Learning and building the love of learning  is best accomplished through active exploration, direct experiences and positive interactions.  We provide endless possibilities for creativity and discovery. Young children have a natural curiosity about the world and we strive to encourage and inspire that curiosity.

Jewish values and mitzvot (good deeds) are beautifully transmitted through the interweaving of Judaic traditions/customs and celebrations, through chesed (kindness), tzedakah (justice), hachnasat orchim (hospitality), identifying with Israel and of course through the joy of Shabbat.

Our curriculum reflects the most recent research in early childhood education and in best Jewish early childhood practices as well.
